What is the difference between braided and twisted yarn?
If you are a macrame beginner, you will usually find it easier to do it with braided yarn. It consists of several strands that have been intertwined to form a thread. Due to the processing, the yarn tangles less at the ends, it is firmer and easier to handle. It also quickly forgives minor mistakes and brings more peace to your work.

Twisted macrame yarn, on the other hand, is particularly suitable for work where the ends are to be combed out, such as macrame feathers.
The yarn is also softer than the braided version and is more recommended for advanced users.

The medium-sized family company has now been around for around 150 years. As with all Mahina partners, sustainability is also a top priority here.

Don't let the name Pferdeseile confuse you, because the roots of the company lie, as the name already suggests, in equestrian sports.

The family business is only about 50 kilometers away from our location. That means short transport routes and less CO2 pollution, which in turn is good for the environment and the climate. For us, the topics of sustainability and environmental protection are very important and an integral part of our corporate culture.
